Causes of stress
Causes of stress response of the body are often referred to as stressors. The way in which a person responds to a number of stressors is determined by factors such as personality and mental acuity.
External factors often lead to repeated stress in our lives. Other concerns may entail the end of a stage in life, which we managed to get used to. Physical illness can mean a loss of self-esteem or confidence, if problems prevent normal functioning. Conflicts arise continuously, whether at work or at home. Quarrel with the people we like or where we feel respected, can cause major psychological problems. This effect is compounded when the conflict is not fully understood. Even family holidays, especially Christmas, the atmosphere gives rise to dreams of peace and goodness, are sometimes a source of conflict, as family members more time than ever to spend in their company.
The conflict is often linked with the need to choose between two or more possibilities. When people have to take a decision, this very fact raises the level of stress. If circumstances prevent the selection of preferred independent decision, there are bitterness and frustration. Sometimes people avoid taking any decision, an attempt to reduce stress. Such a reaction only worsens the situation. In the workplace, superiors repealing before making decisions are often a source of frustration for its employees. Stress also occurs where people are not sure of their duties or when they feel that their needs are ignored. The student life stress causes unrealistic goals imposed by parents or teachers. In modern society, life is subordinated to the need for success. We must be aware that if you want success becomes a leitmotiv, as a result of acute stress is guaranteed.
